Alexa Chung for Madewell
I think Alexa Chung is hilarious and oh so cute, so when I heard about her collaboration with Madewell I got really excited. Here are some pictures from the line which launches Fall 2010.

Temperley London Fall 2010
I LOVE Temperley London.
I love the draping of the skirt. I love the structure of the jacket. I love the monochromatic. I love the hat. I love the gold.

I love the length of the pants. I love the neckline. I love the sleeves. I love the belt. I love the bag.
I love the color of the shirt. I love the proportions. I love the drape of the pants. I love the flow of the look. I love the hat.

I love the play on the Union Jack. I love the cape. I love the gloves. I love slight gray.
Proenza Schouler Fall 2010
Ok, so the only thing I could think of about the Proenza Schouler Fall 2010 collection was Clueless 2010. And I LOVE it.
I like this look because it is super sexy, the sheer neckline to the waistline, it's kind of sexy secretary. And the pleating makes it move beautifully, which is good because then it will entrance everyone you walk by.
But, I'm sorry. If this is not Cluless 2.0 I don't know what is. If only for the exposed midriff. But also, the blazer, totally Clueless. The pleated mini skirt? Come on.
And if this doesn't scream Cher, I don't know what would. She skinned a collie for her backpack in high school, but now that she is 15 years older she has graduated to a whole collie coat! And the skirt is so chic, I love navy and black together, and the thick stripes are lovely.
The babydoll dress was one of the most popular silhouettes in the 90's, and it's back! I love how Proenza Schouler modernized this collection by making it dark and Gothic, it totally contrasts the sweetness of this dress in particular and it feels more grown up, but that could be entirely because I was a kid in the 90's and have a different taste level now. And if I were going to a 90's revival party, this would be my top choice of outfits.
Nanette Lepore Fall 2010
Here are my favorite looks from Nanette Lepore's Fall 2010 collection...
I don't think I really need to explain why I like this look...it is sparkly. And that's really all I need to say. But of course, I will say more. I love the color combination, and it makes me wish I were a blonde. I love the length of the coat, and the textures and the puff sleeves on the coat. And I love the dark grey tights! Those are on my to-get list for the fall, and I encourage others to follow my lead.
This dress is totally sexy-bagpiper chic. I love that it looks like she just threw on a scarf and belted it and ran out of the house. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about trying to get away with doing just that....
This look is similar to the first one, but I love it all the same. The colors, the sparkles, the fact that it is totally wearable and shows that sparkles can be worn in day time and be casual. Take note ladies, and pull out your sequins!
Jeremy Scott Fall 2010
Jeremy Scott is such a silly man, and I love his work. His Fall 2010 collection is no exception.
There isn't really much to say about this except...brilliant.
I have a feeling a lot of girls are going to be writing messages on their sweaters and walking around with their arms spread apart. Get ready to be awkwardly side stepped on the street.
I have recently become a big fan of gold and black together, and I love this jacket. I can imagine it with skinny dark dark denim jeans and a floaty silk, low cut top. And the boots are just great- with tights and mini leather shorts and a thin black boatneck tee shirt. Either outfit I would be so stoked on wearing.
I have a love of stained glass windows, I blame my mother, who studied Gothic cathedrals in France, so thanks mum. This dress is a great representation of those windows, it is so colorful yet edgy and perfect for a girl who can kick ass and look cute doing it.
3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2010
I am a big fan of the proportions in 3.1 Phillip Lim's Fall 2010 collection...
I love these shorts, I think they would be the coziest thing in the world. And I really like the way they are styled here, with an oversized sweater in a thin knit to balance the large print of the shorts.

I love love love these pants. I think the way the plaid is so large it almost turns into a stripe. And I love the length, it makes her legs look 8 miles long. I know they wouldn't be practical for the everyday woman, but that's what hemming is for.
Again, I love these pants. They are high waisted (a favorite style of mine), and they are shiny (another favorite of mine). And I really like the contrast in textures in this outfit, the fluffy jacket and the sleekness of the pants, so cozy and cuddly. I'm in.
I need this outfit. It has so many elements that make me prance around and dream of ways to put it on my body. I love the sparkly shirt and the oversized jacket with the square lapel (which is reminiscent of the 30's), and the bloomer shorts with ruffles. I just love it all, and I think it could be broken up and mixed well with the rest of a regular wardrobe. Well played, Mr. Lim, well played.
I love the floaty feeling with the ruffled shorts and I especially love the hint of metallic under the chiffon. I love the subtlety of the embellishment, and the monochromatic tone. It would be great for a holiday party where you want to be the girl everyone stares at, and not because she tucked in her skirt to her undies...that's just sad.

Erin Featherston Fall 2010
Erin Featherston always delivers cute, flirty, girly clothes and this season is no exception. Her prints are wonderful (and I have a thing for birds so I am extra biased) and her fabrics are lush. Here are my favorite looks!
I love this color, which is not one that I normally gravitate towards but I really love it. This is just a simple, easy dress done well. It is flattering, the waist is a different fabric so it really accentuates the smallest part of the body. And the slit is a hint of sexy, which is always good.
BIRDS! I love this shirt, I might even hunt it down and wear it everywhere. I love the combination of the chiffon and velvet pants. The pants are great, I love that they are tailored and cropped, which is a very modern shape. I also love the monochromatic feel, it is very chic.
I love the plunging neckline of this dress, it is super sexy but not vulger because the rest of the dress is floaty and fully covered. The waistline is flattering and the print is good for people who aren't as adventurous as the bird print.
I can imagine this being on a red carpet soon. It is a pretty shape that will do well with a lot of body types and I really love that the skirt is straight and close to the body. It is a great color, I love grey at the moment. It is just a pretty dress that every girl should have!
Jason Wu Fall 2010
These are my favorite looks from the Jason Wu Fall 2010 collection. I'm hoping to see some on Michelle Obama soon!

I like this dress for the movement and volume. It has the same just-thrown-on-and-about-to-fall-off-but-I-don't-care-because-it's-fabulous feel as the feather dress. And the oversized embellishments elevates its glamour. I just love how it wraps around the body and seems to move, even if the wearer is still.
I have been lusting over pants like this for a while now, and Wu did a good job interpreting them. I like the thin wool paired with the chunky sweater. And even though I know this proportion would only look good on an Amazonian woman and not a little short lady like me, a girl can still dream...
I like the proportions a lot in this collection, and this dress is a good example. Plus, I am a sucker for gradation of color or pattern, so I love this. It's so reminiscent of New Look, the volume especially. It is pretty boxy, and if I were to wear it in real life, I would belt it like nobody's business.
Feathers are really big for spring and fall both, and I love the way Wu did them here. The neckline looks like it is slipping off in a really sexy, daring way. And the feathers just float around the body and make her look so fluid and romantic. Plus the blush color is so pretty for Fall, and I'm really excited to see if that picks up.
I like the rigidness of this dress, which completely contrasts the last dress. And even though it is very stiff, it is figure flattering because it nips in right at the waist then the massive volume creates an illusion of tininess underneath. It's all about illusions in fashion!

Diane von Furstenburg Fall 2010
I have really enjoyed DVF the past few season. I love her playfulness and femininity. This season, it was a little more rough, and I think it really worked. I do kind of miss the pom pom hats though.

I love the fullness of the skirt. And I am not normally a yellow person, but this sweater is a good shade, it's very subtle. Again, I could see these pieces in any one's home, on any one's body.
I love the metallic skirt and the asymmetrical embellishment on the jacket. I wouldn't pair them together in real life, but I could easily see them both being incorporated into any woman's wardrobe!

Surprise, surprise, I love this dress. It is floaty and has sheen and is feminine and me want.

Jean Paul Gaultier for Target
So, I just opened a magazine to find and ad for Jean Paul Gaultier for Go International Target...and I died. I love him, and I am so excited. The line comes out March 7th, and you know I will be first in line! I haven't been able to find good pictures yet, but once I do I will post them.
